The National Chamber of Advocates of Albania is a legal entity with the status of a Non-Profit Organization (NGO), established and operating under the current legislation of the Republic of Albania.

Its activity is governed by:

• The Constitution of the Republic of Albania
• Law No. 55, dated 23.07.2018 “On the Profession of Advocate in the Republic of Albania”
• The Statute of the National Chamber of Advocates
• Sub-legal acts and decisions of its governing bodies

The Chamber ensures the practice of the legal profession in compliance with ethical and professional standards, overseeing the registration, education, training, and continuous development of lawyers in Albania.
