NOTIFICATION

Based on Article 9 of Law 111/2017 "On Legal Aid Guaranteed by the State", the Bar Association of Albania notifies all lawyers interested in participating in the registration process and drawing up lists for the provision of secondary legal aid for the year 2024.

The registration of lawyers is done on the basis of individual application by filling in the standard form for this purpose. The form can be picked up at the Chamber of Advocates of Albania or can be downloaded from the official website dhka.org.al.

The applicant lawyer can apply in one of the following specialties:

• Civil and criminal processes
• Protection of minors
• Victim protection for domestic violence

The lawyers who will apply must have an experience in the profession of lawyer of 2 years, they must be equipped with the annual permit to practice the profession of lawyer and be registered with the tax authority.

In relation to the protection of minors, only lawyers who possess a protection certificate for this purpose apply.

Applications are made on an organization basis for each individual local room.

Lawyers who have exercised legal aid for the year 2023 can confirm via email of the chamber that they express interest in registration for the year 2024 as well, without having to fill out a new form. Entries close on January 29, 2024.
